The Toyota Vitz is a five-door hatchback subcompact car.
Toyota’s smallest model, the 1.0-litre Vitz features its smallest engine too. This makes it a true small car with a correspondingly small price.
But don’t judge by this that the Vitz 1.0 is underpowered, for the VVT-i valve system gives a 0-62mph time of 14.1 seconds, and a top speed of 96mph - more than adequate for a city car, especially given the 50mpg average economy figure.
